Meeting @ Dataran Siswa (24/3)

Last Thursday, we organised a meeting  headed by Lau Li Yang as the Project Director. He updated us with recent informations he received from Dr Hanafi & the Faculty's office. He also updated on the progress of our plan. Khadijah & Miza shared to us the outcome of the location survey and informed us with some challenges we might face in the future. 

Later on we discussed on the next steps that need to be taken and division of works and who are the person in charges. Stay tune for more updates on our project! :) 

Survey Location

Kuala Lumpur, 8 March 2016 -

Today is International Women Day and we send representative of our group to do a survey at the location at PPUM. We went to PPUM and plan to ask the paediatric ward, we firstly ask the guard where is the location. He told us to go to the east tower. After we reached east tower, we try to find the ward, but can't make it, so Khadijah asked the officer and she was told it was just beside the building. There we found a clinic and pharmacy for children. Then we walk on the escalator and went to 4th floor. Then the nurse there said we have to go find a sister in the ward that located at 5th to the 8th floor.

We went up and did the sister were chatting in the pantry. Her name is Sharifah. She is nice and she gave us information about Mr Hidayat, the officer that in charge. He is also a nice person.

From our discussion, few things that we were highlighted:-

1. The activity must start at 11 am
2. Maximum person is 10 only
3. Make clear objectives
4. UITM student already did a charity project there.
5. There's a special room for activities

When we wanted to go back to campus, we took a cab and paid RM9.00 and kept the receipt. 

SHORT MEETING

Kuala Lumpur 23 February 2016 - 

It's the first day of lecture day of this semester!

We, students and Madam Wan,  our social engagement course coordinator did a short meeting at 4 p.m. This is a compulsory subject in order for us to graduate and we  are excited to do this project. 

First meeting, Madam asked us to form an organization board and we appointed Lau to be the leader. Lau appointed Fatin to assist him.While Shafee and Alya did the secretary job and nadhwah as a treasurer. The rest of us will focus on specific parts of the event.

Before the meeting ended, we were told to discuss about project proposal. There are  many places that suggested and all of that are awesome. Which place we decided to go? To be continued...
